HOTEL POLICY

Smoking Policy
The hotel offers guest a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. We will impose a cleaning fee of  300 MYR to any guest who violates the smoking policy. Please note that electric cigarettes are also not allowed in the hotel premises. Guest is only allowed to smoke in designated smoking area.

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed on the hotel premises.

Tourism Tax Policy
As of 1st September 2017, foreign guest are subject to the Malaysia Tourism Tax of 10 MYR per room per night in accordance with the Tourism tax Act of 2017. Malaysian nationals and permanent residents holding MyPR cards are exempt from the tourism tax.

Check-in and Check-out Time
Check-in time is 3 PM
Check-out time is 12 PM
A valid government-issued identification or passport is required at check-in.

Early Arrival and Late Departure
Early check-in and late check-out are available on request subject to room availability and occupancy level.
A half-day room charge may be incurred for early check-in between 9am to 12pm
A full day room charge may be incurred for early check-in between 6am to 9am.

Please check with the Hotel’s Front Desk at least 3 hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out.
RM25.00 charges may be incurred for late check-out between 1pm to 2pm.
RM50.00 charges may be incurred for late check-out between 2pm to 3pm.
A full day room charge may be incurred for late check-out after 3pm.

Occupancy Policy
Children under 4 years staying with parents in the room is considered stay for free.
Extra Person Fee – Additional adults sharing a room will incur a charge of 30-50 MYR per night, per person.
An extra bed is available at a surcharge only in Deluxe Room and higher categories.

Parking Policy
Parking is available surrounding the hotel premises. The hotel guest may purchase the coupon booklet at the hotel front desk.
All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in and parked at the risk of the owner.

Lost & Found Policy
Melang Inn Hotel assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately (606) 4811511/ 4811522 and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item. Please be advised that the lost & found item will be stored for 60 days at the hotel.

Eligible Age For Check-In
You must be at least 18 years of age to check-in and register for a room.

Restrictions
You may not bring the following into our Hotels:
· Pets or livestock
· Pillows, bed sheets, duvets or other items of bedding
· Any electrical appliances and/or equipment for heating and/or cooking purposes

Hotel reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate any of the above items found in any Hotel room immediately without notice to you and to charge you for any costs incurred for taking such action or for any loss or damage caused to the Hotel room, premises or property or to any Hotel guests or third party as a result of your failure to comply with this policy.
Hotel further reserves the right to ask you to leave the Hotel and remove your belongings from the room immediately if we shall, in our sole opinion, deem that you have used the Hotel room in an irresponsible manner or in a manner that will compromise the safety of, or cause damage and/or harm to the Hotel room, the Hotel premises, the other Hotel guests, our staff or any other persons or the reputation of Melang Inn Hotel, without any compensation and/or any reimbursement to you.

CANCELLATION
i. Peak
Payment made for bookings are strictly non-refundable. Any booking cancellation or failure to arrive on the check-in date will be deemed as no-show in respect of booking. Full payment will be forfeited without prior notice.

  1. Non-Peak
    A fully refund will be made for cancellations received 7 days prior to arrival.
    A 50% refund will be made for cancellations received 5 days prior to arrival.
    No refund thereafter.

The hotel reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.

 

GENERAL PROVISIONS
By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Hotel, your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hotel’s standard terms and conditions of stay.
The Hotel may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if the Hotel is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete.
The Hotel shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
You shall indemnify and hold the Hotel harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of the reservation by the Hotel.
The Hotel shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by the Hotel.
